In addition to a description of the drug candidate itself, search results also show important commercial information in the Category column, distinguishing products in clinical development from product alliances or acquisitions, for example. The Product Description column provides information on the current clinical status of a drug, or the alliance partner or acquirer, and status. This helps you discriminate between those products that are being developed in-house as opposed to drugs that are to be out-licensed or acquired.
